Spent last evening with a group of seven mates on the Churnet Valley Railways..."Curry on Clagging Special". What a fine evening that was. For the princely sum of £12, you get.....2 round trips on the full CVR line, Leekbrook - Froghall, this includes 4 run round operations behind a class 37. Also, a beautiful and well presented curry, rice, and naan bread....AND a bottle of beer. £12 the lot. This was a pretty well fully booked service with about 80 people on board. Congratulations must go to all the staff and organisers of this event...we shall be going again...SOON. Pie and Pea Special next.
