Hope you're keeping well and enjoying life in the slightly slower lane.
 
Just wanted to say that I've just watched a video of the Exeter show. I must say, Sheep Dip looked amazing. The very natural weathering all helped to bed everything in. A shame I couldn't get to see it. But as you know, I'm relocating to Minehead in the future. So there will be a bunch of shows I'll be able to get to.
 
I'm surprised no one mentioned the height of the layout? It was the first thing I noticed. How high was it anyway?

Took me 12 hours to get to Dublin on BA on Tuesday. Flight canceled from LHR 3 hours before departure and rebooked from LCY.. good job I checked my email.

My company is paying 400 Eur a night for a budget hotel in Dublin, but not before it took an hour just to get a cab out of the airport.
 
Dublin itself is packed..
 
Now on my way back and my 10am flight turned into a stand by for a 4pm flight.
 
Tues-Thus we’re traditionally pre-covid the “dead” days when flying, I can honestly say I’ve never seen airports so busy and it’s not yet holiday season ..
 
It’s crazy… 
 
on the upside I’ve a Prawn salad and a Morreti in a rather packed airport bar, and bagged one last class 55 to add to my depot.

Happily retired with lots of time to spend in my garden running model trains! Much better than driving a desk in an office!
