The lighting setout is complex and not set up out of the box. We recommend a Lokpilot with the custom.file installed from the ESU website in order to work all functions. Which gaugemaster decoder are you using?
The file is available free of charge on the ESU website if you are able to blow your own decoders or you can order a pre blown decoder from our retailers or Road and Rails.
It should have a handbrake wheel on each side. The contact point for the wheel to the end of the thin wire on the model is very small and they do come off quite easily. Something that we will address on the next batch.
The flange squeal shouldn't be on by default. It's activated by F7 so you should be able to see if it's on. Are you sure it's the squeal and not the bogie rattle sound as that is on be default?
Ah apologies. It seems that I misread the question. Locos from 091 onwards (our series 4 cabs with the second man's vent) were not fitted with the bang grids. 090 the last series 3 was fitted with them.
