Garethp8873
I'm certainly going to place an order for the LNER Toad E Brake Van soon. Been waiting to replace my Mainline and Bachmann examples for a while now. If I was to order two of these, what would the total be Bill?
billbedford
The Toad E are going to be priced at £37.50, so two with postage will be £79.
billbedford
Just a quick up date. The LNWR D.32 Van is now available, and I have most of the components for the LNER Toad E and the NER S1 hopper. I'm just waiting for the buffers to come. RMweb Gold Argos Posted June 25, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 25, 2016 Like that van a lot, will it be available in 7mm at all? Thanks
billbedford
I could, if someone could convince me that it was likely that I could sell 30+ of each model within about a year.
jwealleans
If you can find one, ABS do (did?) the same van in 7mm. Don't whatever you do drop it on your foot, though.
RMweb Gold Argos Posted June 25, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 25, 2016 Bill,an old modeller's world kit of one went on ebay recently for around £60, if I recall, so there is demand.Even for something as shocking as that! Being pedantic, I think the ABS one is a D33 with doors either side? The D32 only had doors one side, the other side being blank (nice modelJwealleans) these weren't built until 1894 so just miss my timescale. http://www.lnwrs.org.uk/Wagons/vans/Diag032.php http://www.lnwrs.org.uk/Wagons/vans/Diag033.php I'll put my name down for one......only 29 to go! FelixM
This van appears to have no doors, is it completely enclosed? @Bill: Ordered your LNWR van, and was surprised by the small postal charges to mainland Europe. Excellent and thanks!
