I have had my attention draw to the old railway warehouse at Huddersfield and particularly the wagon hoist alongside. Does anyone happen to know how, or if, the wagons were moved from the top of the hoist into the building? By the look of the configuiration this would of meant the wagons either being turned 90deg of transfered sideways. Fascinating stuff, I'd love to know, Brian. Ps looking at it again I see there's no room for turning.
