Bristol_Rich
There are a few pics here in my Gallery of Frampton, or if there are any specific ones that you can think of let me know and I can post them up/ fwd them on. The dimensions of the layout is approx 8' x 2' at a push...if you want to see it in the flesh it will be at the Thornbury, Bristol, Exhibition in Nov 2010. robbostrains
Thanks for reply, that pic is a lot bigger than the one's off the old forum and it's got the size on it.Thanks, great layout. What does an average operating session consist of?
Bristol_Rich
Usually the operation consists of a couple of wagons placed onto the layout - loco arrives with train, pulls forward into loop and runs around - Shunter then used to shunt wagons into one of the various sidings to then form the train for the return of the loco. Its basically a shunting layout so other than shunting and the illusion of a loco arriving and leaving with wagons not much else will happen...depending how tight for space the layout is at the time. Depending on the size of loco you can add variety by using the loco to shunt which also increases the number of movements due to the reduced space due to the loco size.
