flyingsignalman
I found these two photos while sorting "stuff" out, taken at Higher Buxton goods yard in about 1977/8 and thought they may be of interest. I think the depot was known as Buxton South at the time. They show the covers of two chambers that presumably were connected to the tank wagons by flexible hoses so they could be discharged. I think there were another couple of set of these chambers further along the same siding. The storage tanks they fed were situated nearby at the bottom of an embankment. I took the photos because of the Pratts name embossed on one of the covers; I don't remember any other paraphenalia to do with oil handling in the goods yard.
