Modern Image in Germany.

Morning All,

I don't know how many are interested in the modern day scene in Germany, but, for those that are, and who didn't see them on Fotopic, there is a set of pictures on Flickr :

They were taken on my trip to Neuenmarkt-Wirsberg and Lindau last year.

Incidentally, the links to Flickr come up with a mini-slide show rather than a link to the website. I don't know how to get to the the actual site and the pictures. Can anyone advise?

PS to above : I have discovered that clicking on a picture when it's on the screen will open the the link, but I had to tell the pop-up blocker to allow pop-up from Flickr first! I suppose everybody else knew that already!!

Thanks for those 45669! I like the vaulting in the first station in the "stream", where is it please? Were you at the Bayreuth Festival?

The first pictures were taken at Köln. By clicking on the picture it pauses the slide show and brings up the caption. By then clicking on "Open photo in new window" you get taken to my Flickr site.

The purpose of my trip to Germany was to visit the Gala weekend at the Deutsches Dampflokmuseum at Neuenmarkt-Wirsberg and to experience the Schiefe Ebene - something that I missed out on in steam days. I only passed through Bayreuth when changing trains on the way to Nürnberg.

I had lots of pictures on Fotopic but, so far, there are only a handful on Flickr. They're here in sets in the European Railways collection if you are interested to see them :

Lots more to be added in the fullness of time.
