Felton Lane (Goods). West Durham in the 1940's.
A few weeks ago I started a thread in Layout topics for My next layout, Felton Lane. I thought I should start again here as it fits in perfectly with the 2010 layout challange... Felton Lane (Goods) is set in a west Durham town. The town had two stations, one Stockton & Darlington and one North Eastern. Didn't do much last week but I've got back into it now. Barge boards, gutters and downpipes have been added to the outside and painted. Work has been almost completed on the interior, probably wasted as no one will really see inside, the cabin faces the backscene, but I've enjoyed doing it anyway. I've used a mixture of Wills and Springside bits and would probably use just Springside in the future although the quadrents aren't really suited to an NER M&H frame.
