kandc_au
Me being me on yet another unfinished project. I have been "trying" to make 70 ft Toplights. First effort was placed somewhere where it would stay flat...and is still there 12 months later and counting!! (Probably be found when I croak it) 2nd effort was the Jenkinson way, and I lost patience after making 9 compatments instead of 10!! 3rd effort...this one. I am using yet again, ex suburban shells, I think that is what Rovex also used on his. For the Toplight openings themselves I am using a paper hole cutter.....a square one! Certainly saves a lot of the grief of trying to get the openings square. I have no doubts that this would be a useful item for other bits of scratchbuilding and kitbashing. Worth considering. rovex
Would be interested in seeing some photos of this. I've bought enough kits of ebay over the last couple of years that when (and I mean when) I get round to building them its going to be a lifelong project, but I would be very interested in seeing how this is done and the results.
