Fat Controller
I've been looking for ways of using up 'surplus' wagon underframes and was wondering about modelling one of these:- http://paulbartlett.zenfolio.com/denpartzrv Unfortunately, I can't find any photos showing the arrangement of the tops of the boxes; were they open, or did they have hinged/removable lids? I think I can 'guesstimate' the leading dimensions from the photos, but if anyone does have any information, it would be welcomed. Were they used for different material flows to the WR 'ENPARTS' vehicles and the LMR's 6-wheel Stores (ex-Fish) wagons? Thanks in advance for any information. hmrspaul
Dear Brian Yes, apologies nothing shows the top very well, although I think this one is clear enough http://PaulBartlett.zenfolio.com/denpartzrv/e740b628 that there is an L or T bar across the middle of the top, with a pair of wing nuts holding down the lid - not too bad here http://PaulBartlett.zenfolio.com/denpartzrv/e741b5f2 A number of the photographs are of condemned wagons which have lost the top lids, or are waiting to be loades - so could be misleading - such as http://PaulBartlett.zenfolio.com/denpartzrv/e513ef81 Paul Bartlett

It's difficult to take any shots of wagon tops/ interiors in most locations, unless you lug a steps around, or stand on someone's shoulders...
