hornbyandbf3fan
How would they be operated? Would there be two snowploughs, one at each end or just one. Would there be one or two locos and would they be light engine or pulling an old coach for workmen? My era is the 1950s. I know a lot of this sounds easy to find, but a search on google images found nothing and i'd rather have someone on here who knows. Not my picture, please don't reproduce. 90171
Try watching this video on youtube. It is a real British Railways publicity film detailing the actual work of freeing a snowbound train at Stainmore, in 1953-54 (Snowdrift at Bleathgill)
