It's all Scalescenes
If you feel like cheating a little to make life easier use some Fabfoam for the infill over the sleepers.

What are using for the concrete surface?

Wow! Hope you have a good trip Kevin.

I'm envious Kevin, by the time I'd got my act together all the cinemas around here that were screening it were booked up. I believe it'll be shown on BBC on Armistice Day. It looks amazing.

Thank you; a few kind words do make it worthwhile!

I'll be really interested to see the light rig in the flesh next weekend Dave as I've got a pile of components to do something similar (but with a few reservations on the flex in those connectors anyway).
Really looking forward to seeing this.

An excellent piece of definition, and illustration, of the various ways in which things can be worked on a layout, complete with a really clear line drawn between timetable and sequence working.
Something BRM ought to copy and publish in my view in order to make it available to a wider audience. It some ways it's a shame it's on a blog as posting it in a thread might lead to further debate (although I can understand that could also be a very good reason for posting it in a blog).
Good thinking; I'll give it some thought how it could be utilised.

I like the lighting; subtle and convincing - unlike the magnesium flares on a plastic stick that many layouts plague themselves with.

I've only just found this due to your link on window etches but I think it's absolutely superb!

Good luck Ian, I've posted your message here - http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/115162-brdatabaseinfo/&do=findComment&comment=2442744

It's an issue with the old theme Brian. I've changed your settings for you so it should all be OK now.

Congratulations on the retirement Tim! May you have many happy days reporting on Voyager lavs without complete freedom and not just because you're on the way to the office.

Absolutely brilliant work!
Now we've just got to work out who nicked all the sleepers.

Unfortunately it's a long and saddening story - http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/66297-news-from-cooper-craftblacksmithslaterskirk-lnermailcoach-kits/page-24
You're right to be concerned and I would persist in trying to phone, I believe afternoons are sometimes fruitful.

The ideal would be to choose one of the topics to link to the other and then report it to get me to lock it; that way readers of both will be able to see a topic but all the replies will be in one place to avoid confusion.

Excellent
Shouldn't it be blue; Banger Blue?

Merry Christmas Will; love the artwork!

It's best to place the item in Classifieds.

Excellent; but alarmingly for Kernow Towers said feline seems to be showing a healthy interest in blue diesels, or is he on sausage-watch?. I'm sure you'll be having words.

Hi Kevin; glad it went well overall.
Is it worth getting some lengths of 2"x1" (the longest that'll fit in the car) and place them across the 3 trestles to spread the bearing?
-
I've got a big soft-spot for the self same loco from my youth, it really did look the part for its time and apart from my Joueff 40s (more Beatties bargain bin items) and was one of the better running diesels 35 years ago.

A big thumbs-up from me for thinking about the shadows; I spent a frustrating day this week removing tree shadows from a backscene in photoshop - not many people would think that way so I applaud it.

It does bounce a bit Huw! But I agree; it's substantially more appealing.

Well I do need somewhere for the ever-increasing fleet of "that's cute" purchases to stretch their little legs, this is true.
