A wow from me too; fantastic selection of stock.
-
Can you send the details in a PM to me please (dates, communications etc) and I'll investigate.

Nice job!
Time to banish the plastic coal loads now perhaps?

Your latest pics sum up for me just how good this is Tom although it's even more impressive in the flesh; a superbly observed recreation of the yard and dare I say it, the best interpretation I've ever seen of a preserved railway. I think you're building a future classic.

They certainly look to have good proportions of density and airiness to each other.Very nice job.

It's a beautiful piece of work Tom and I'm really pleased you were there. All seemed to run well whilst we briefly chatted and your presentation standards are superb. Syill in love with your water tower!

Thanks for your input Simon and the sustained efforts to push the more modern eras in prominence in the mag!
I do wish we'd gone to see the Lancs though and done the business stuff on the road as I've still not seen Vera (should have been at the revised East Kirkby date this Sunday for the 3 Lancs but somebody put a show on).
It's a great job and one we all passionately enjoy but it's all a little more complex than people see from the outside as you've now seen.
Have a safe journey up to RMweb Live tomorrow!

Another splendid tree from Farmer Farmer.
Is this the big tree by the level crossing?

So sorry to hear that news Tom.
Tidy work there.

Absolutely superb; whatever your something's are they look rather good and obviously took a while planting. Looks like someone's sat in the rhubarb overnight though.

Great images; full of interest!

Shawplan flush glazing which made a huge difference.
Monday's lesson - don't use a Sharpie to make the rubber grommet before using Kleer to stick the flush glazing in - makes a right mess.
This one will join the BCB reserve list for the run up to the steelworks.

Are you planning on adding flashing LEDs to the roof, to represent the warning lights?
You've got it Huw!

That looks really rather smart and the grass is very effective.

Romfords + Big 'Ommer = Entertaining article

Wonderful stuff Mike; couldn't resist a bit more of a play to get an old printed book look.

Hi David, it may be worth asking in the questions area of the forum - http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/forum/25-modelling-questions-help-and-tips/

Paynestown was superbly atmospheric Al; I really had a soft spot for that.

All those beautiful buildings....and then that loco. AAAAaaggghhh!!!
To be fair the needs of running a heavily used push button requires reliability and that can only be found from some continental chassis and the approximations of bodies that can fit; an average UK N/009 RTR chassis would be dead in a month or two.

Who wouldn't want a go with the R/C fire engine? We could do with more of this cross-pollenation and exposure to the entertainment of parallel hobbies in the UK as we only have somewhat diluted versions of this. It's evident from the pictures that the trade stands make more of an effort to give a professional look too, over here shell scheme = higher rent = grumpy trade.

Nice work; I'm sure that's a good foundation for a quality 'built-in' look.

There you go; a prototype for all our models, trains with (virtually) no passengers.
