  10. hi johan how did you come up with the name rose regis for your layout
  11. yes i second that feeling under the weather today
  12. i like your grass its comeing along well keep it up
  13. hi johan i just put pva onto the baseborad then then just sprinkle grass on to the glue from a applacator works well for me hope this helps you
  14. i would stick Bachmann or Hornby mainstream the railroad range are crap devoid of detail and cheep parts i bought a class 55 deltic in the railroad range put it on the layout and it just stoped i took it to my freind who fixs locos it needed a new motor they are designed for people on a budget. dont know if that helps the mainstream stuff is the best. it seems to be ever since all the work went over to china they dont make much at margate any more.
  15. i will second that its nice to see that young person has the intrest not many young people are into model railways
  16. yes that would go well with what you already have there david
  17. i would leave your fueling point where it is it looks ok as you have limited space. your trains can come out of the engine shed down that little bit of track and get fuel.
  18. As for ideas of what else you could do i am putting a link on for the pics of my layout http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/103659-a-few-more-pics-of-wickstone-junction/ Also have a look at other peoples as most of them are very good, i got ideas by looking at the sorts of things they have done.
  19. I like that you have used straws for lights but just one tiny suggestion for them you might think about painting them all grey as they will look more realistic. The ballasting you have done is okay but try to keep it off the top and the inside of the rail clear or you may find that your trains will derail.
