Hi I have done that Iain, I have to make sure the loco body is not in the rails, but the tender is. As the motor runs as soon as decoder is connected . It didn't make a difference, it powers the motor as soon as fitted, with no control at all.

Hi folks, yesterday I installed a Hornby TTS sound chip into Hornby A3 loco . Everything worked fine until the loco derailed. Since then everytine I put loco with chip on track the motor runs with no control. I have tried resetting the chip but no luck I have to keep the loco body off the track whilst trying to reprogramme as as soon as I connect the chip the motor starts. Is the chip knackered or is there a way round this. I am using an NCE Powercab.

Hi just finished building one of Jim caley wagon kits, 7t open, does anyone produce transfers for the Caley in 2mm? Also what do people use for bending and folding etch parts? I have a set of bars but their just too big to use, I struggled with an old metal rule, tweezers and finger nails lol

Hi guys hope you don't mind me resurrecting this thread. I have recently acquired 3 baseboard kits each measuring 900mm x 400mm, giving me a scenic area of 2700mm x 400mm. Looking at the plans posted earlier, especially the Glasgow central themed one, I was wondering if someone could maybe draw one up for me in anyrail. I don't have a computer just a tablet and anyrail will not install on it? I am using basic Hornsby points although I have peco flexitrack and a peco double slip, any ideas folks? David
