  1. The Modern version isn't out until Q4 Ian_B
  2. Hi Ben, are you planning on doing these in 'OO'? Ian_B
  3. What's the differences? A Bogie change for certain, but what else? Ian_B
  4. Warriors need the special cradle as well, in order to raise the tracks above platform height. Looks like those will need to be scratchbuilt if you want Warriors as a load. Ian_B
  5. Warrior IFVs would be better :-) Just having the warwells is a step in the right direction. Is there any indication from Bachmann that they'll do a modern Warflat? Ian_B
  6. As the latest variants are used to transport Warrior AFVs (which have to be lifted above the height of a platform to get them in gauge) are these being supplied with the Warrior transport ramps? Ian_B
  7. As of Wigan Show, Bif had not yet had the opportunity to record the Harsco Grinder. He had set up a session, but they sent the wrong sort of Grinder, so no recordings were made. :-( Ian_B
  8. Nothing on use of the USB socket! do we need any interface software on the PC - what will it report as in the Hardware list? Is it already compatable with control software tike JMRI? Is the 611 software updatable via USB? Is the existing USB Interface that connects via the Bus redundant? If no-one has anything to report I'll give Graham a ring later this week. Ian_B
  9. Pete, when do we discover if the orders are inside the number you're producing for batch 1? Ian_B
  10. You might have problems with the Bachmann offering if you're a purist as the WW2 one they're promising was modified (new Bogies are the most obvious thing as I recall) sometine in the '60s or '70s. Ian_B
  11. Is there space to fit a Brass piece of angle iron (or should I say Angle brass?) the L shaped section? Ian_B

    20ft Spider tank

Arran, Are these available to purchase yet? Ian_B

    MRA wagons

Aren't they in the next batch? Ian_B
  14. Platform 3 went bust in 1979/80 allegedly due to questionable financial practices. The layout was dismantled by North Fylde MRC (who were in Poulton at the time) and the usable parts sold off by local retailers as BR wanted to demolish the old station buildings. If you recall the big mountain he had at one end with the rack rail running up it, that thing was Concrete and had to be smashed up with sledgehammers! As I recall all the stock was Flieschmann. The locos were still good, but a lot of the coaches had worn their bearings away and when removed all the wheelsets dropped out! Ian_B

    MRA wagons

Dave, are these the Railtrack liveried ones or the ones in Railtrack colours but with railtrack painted out? Ian_B
  16. With the 511 if you are set in forward direction with directional lights on and you slow to a standstill (speed 0) then switch to reverse the lights remain set to forward until you set speed 1 in reverse i.e The lights are biased forward. Ian_B
  17. C-Rails containers do fit onto the Bachman Pins (they also fit onto the Dapol Pins) Ian B
  18. There was a train at Preston in the sidings between the station and the Longridge branch in the 70/80s. My recolection was that it was a dirty olive green colour rather than black. The coaches all had flat roofs and were marked Electrification. Ian_B
  19. Hi WBF, any indication when the Modern Warwell and PFA wagons will be available? Ian_B
  20. You could stick a mainline Tamper in there and not be unprototypical. I came across one working the track between Rossal and Thornton gate in the last couple of years. sadly didn't have a camera with me. Ian_B
