Hi all,I’m after a little help please. As you may have read,we're currently detailing a model of Black Five 44871 ‘’Sovereign’’ in 1980/90’s condition, but so far have failed to find any etched nameplates available. Does anyone have a good side-on view of the nameplate and crest from when it carried them. We're hoping to be able to get a set commissioned, but in the meantime could attempt to print a set on photo paper! Thanks for your time, Kev.

I have a "Best of British steam - Scotland" DVD, from a few years ago. Its shows Sovereign a fair bit. Its has a superb close up view of the plate in all its glory.

Would uploading a photograph of it breach copyright?

Sounds very interesting! Buildings that have a lot of history tied up in them and they still find use today. They have managed to keep character, despite modernising.  Plenty of good colour photographs from this era to be found which is always useful too. No shortage of traction choices either!
