  1. Excellent thank you, i have now purchased the item. I gathered the motor wires to go the M + & - and the pick ups to Rail L & Rail R and where does the speaker wires go to as well please?
  2. I have got my sound file Zimo MX659n18 installed in my Bachmann Ivatt 2MT 2-6-2T, i was wondering does anyone know how to fit the stay alive to the loco or the chip, I’ve posted a picture to see where it could go on the pcb board, can anyone help please? many thanks
  3. Hi All I've recently come to DCC and need a bit of help with this DCC controller. It doesn't work. No locos actually runs or make noises or nothing, I’ve only connected the wire to the program track to see it works or not but it doesn’t. It all lights up on the controller with the factory settings for decoder to 3 but no such luck. Is it worth calling to gaugemaster over his problem or not? Many Thanks
  4. Many thanks for advice there, So it's possible then? My main fleet is mainly steam and plans for the gradient to start on straight then climbs though a curve. I've measured the length and it should be the same length as woodlands 3%. I hope it works if not then I have to go back to the drawing board!
  5. Thank you, although I've done some more research on it and brought the 3% woodland scenic pack. Also I saw a video using a dcc concepts powerbase could that help it a lot or not really?
  6. I am in the process of designing my layout and it is planned to have an incline from the fiddle yard to the top station which the fiddle yard will be the underneath section. Trains will generally have 4 or 5 coaches long and it has to climb to about 70mm, Will most of my locos which are newest in the terms of ready to run models are all 90% Bachmann & Hornby steam locos will get up that high on a curved 3rd radius 180 degrees long? Also it will be DCC powered throughout too Many thanks
