PHDesigns etch pantograph base kit is still available. If you give him a call or email him and let him know how many you want as I think he has minimum number that you need to order. I got 6 off him last summer.

I used standard solder although it is the old lead/tin type but lead free is good enough. As most of the pantograph motion is soldered to the tube, very carefully ream out the holes on the parts of the kit that are to be fitted to the tube so they are a tight fit then you only need a very small amount of solder to secure them, using a tiny amount of flux does help as well.
