Hi
was just wondering if you might be able to tell me what transfers you used for your Cambrian BAAs or BBA's as i'm currently building some myself?
And also what colours did you use to paint your cambrian turbots? I'm not sure which yellow to use!
Thanks for your time, really like this thread!

I also think the new backscene looks great!
It adds a sense of location to the layout as well as height and depth, excellent work !
cheers

oh right, well its a pretty clever design as i suppose it saves space when storing bits of rolling stock at exhbitions...
if you dont mind me askign what have you used as the wood for the front/ fascia of the layout?
cheers

I am looking at the DRS pair,
but i was wondering what i could run with them, i presume the new Bachmann FNA's would be a suitable load,
is there anything else i can use?
cheers

Have to say this layout is definately one of my favourites!
on your newly installed backscene, are they locomotive storage spaces? if so what are they made from?
thanks,

looking really good, its coming together very quickly!
IMHO i think the mix of stock is good, enables you to run many different eras!

ModelRail Magazine - Colchester Station kit/plans
in Other Magazines
Posted
Hi all,
Wondered if anyone would be able to help me in identifying which issue of Model Rail magazine (think it was late 90’s/Early 2000’s) contained the printed kit/plans for Colchester station’s island platforms?
I wanted to use them as an aid to scratchbuilding. They’re described on the Whitley Bay layout website as a base for a modern station.
Thanks,
Jon
