    I used that to deflate SWMBO's strange assertion that I have too many trains!  :no: :) :jester:

     

    Hornby 0 gauge doesn't take long to reach that sort of money!

     

    Does anyone know how much it actually made? Their estimates look rather low to me.

    According to my local paper the auction made £48,000!

    Hi, I've been enjoying watching your model develop for a while now, good work! My response to this kit was to replace the cupola with a bit of cut down slate roof which I thought better fitted my townscape than the cupola. That of course doesn't help build the cupola.
