A great bunch of friendly guys, operating in a luxurious club room with some great layouts. Well worth a visit1
  2. I am also waiting impatiently for the N.E. Railcar, they have had my £30 deposit for some years now and refuse to refund it. I hope this behaviour is widely disseminated so other folks are not left in the same situation. Two questions spring to mind, did they ever intend to produce the model and how much money are they hanging on to indefinitely. I consider it sharp practice and will not use Rails again even if it cost more from a more reputable dealer. Geoff
  3. I hope the organisers will be fully accountable, open to scrutiny and fiscally sound.
  4. Hi, I have just completed installing Cobalts on Peco points and have found it unnecessary to remove the over centre spring they work just fine.
  5. A Gauge O group on Tyneside is interesting to me, although a bit of a trek from Alnwick.
  6. It may be a cunning plan by them !
  7. I have been unable to access the Guild website today with various warnings about the site being insecure and the latest message saying the site cannot be found? cheers G
  8. Is it something to do with back emf?
  9. Great many thanks, shunting plank now running from the Z21 via an extended bus from theOO layout and it all works well.
  10. Hi all, can anyone help me outhere I have a couple of O gauge locos whos running is great except at low speeds I seem to vaguely remember it is something to do with a CV setting but which one and how much to charge ? G
  11. Hello all, I have a Roco Z21 I use to run my OO gauge layout and I am very happy with it. I have now ventured into a small DCC O gauge project and wondered if I could/should use the Z21 controller on it Geoff
  12. I need to chip a NON DCC ready Hornby 8F, could also do with instruction on taking it apart. cheers Geoff
