  1. It doesn’t get much better than that.
  2. Prices and versions now online. https://railsofsheffield.com/collections/kr-models?q=2-10-0
  3. To shew my impartiality and balance, the KR Models mica is available to pre-order through retailers like Rails here. Still nothing new to see yet. Any thoughts ? https://railsofsheffield.com/collections/kr-models?q=mica
  4. Diluted glycerine stops them becoming brittle and adds some flexibility to them.
  5. My eldest daughter was visiting Bridgnorth this afternoon and caught Hall class 4930 Hagley Hall in steam and looking rather splendid.

Followed a close second by wartime black.
  12. My son who's in the theatre business has ultimate respect for those, including friends, that are in this show. Not only do they have to have the triple threat at an audition but then successful candidates have to go on a 'crash' course for a month to learn how to roller skate. The sets for this show are quite amazing apparently.
  13. A coloured render of Gordon is being shewn.
  14. I enjoyed it ,whatever the faults and it was a cracking advert for the South Devon Railway.
  15. Further to this eBay purchase in 2020 and the loss of photos in the RMweb crash we now see it progressing with the start of a load. An Oxford Diecast Fowler plough is on the way to some lucky South Hams farmer. I will tie it down after giving the plough a coat of matt varnish to dull its out of the box shiny appearance. Some sellers want 35 sheets for a mint boxed example of the Loriot but patience is usually rewarded if an unboxed example can be sought. The underframe , as one would imagine, is non existent detail wise compared with todays models. Now do I get the traction engine to match or would it be a too heavy load for a loriot/lowmac.

The same can be said for Fox too.
