It makes a change from doing GWR locos.

Now I've seen it in the flesh I can confirm what a beautiful recovery job James has done. Look out for a photo or two on my thread.

Rich, what is the parentage of those clamps, please? I ask because deep in the pile of project boxes is a pair of brake composite sides and a donor body awaiting their turn for surgery and, if I'm honest, the courage to do it.
Chris
Squires sell these as do many pound shops Chris.

These coaches had five gas tanks and they're a bastard to squeeze between the queen posts. You will need to modify the Comet underframe to fit them. I can measure the distance required if needed. I think I used just the ends on plastic tube in the end. It's been a while....

7427 looks superb too up close and personal. A real credit to you.
-
You've got one hell of a quality layout Dave. You can never have too many trees either.
-
Still getting scrambled letters at the top of the page Al.
-
Great to see you posting Mark, you know where to send 7427 ....
-
Now that's rather nice.
-
Fabulous work Tim !
-
What is your source for 4547 in wartime black then ?
-
Very nice N class Mark.
-
Very nice James and it's brought back memories of a spotty teenager [me] building the then new release 1/24 Hawker Harrier. This was way before the Falklands war that made it's name. I wouldn't mind another go. Gorgeous kits from Airfix. You need to do the mossie too.

I have a gut feeling it [4920] will be lined Rich but not below the footplate.
-
The Bachmann post war liveried 4920 has reached the artwork stage in design so I'm told.
-
Did you manage to keep the lining on the nameplate plinth Rich ?
-
A man after my own heart Rich.
-
Nice looking wagons these Rich and suit the shirtbutton livery well.
-
Although it's beautiful to look at Tim it would be in best interests of everyone to have a good runner. If you're not happy, get an exchange on it.
-
Words fail me,seriously good.
-
As you can imagine it gets my seal of approval Mark. The black N with sunshine lettering looks a treat.
-
I can't keep up with all your projects Rich, I don't know how you do it with a young family.
-
Thanks Robin...
I'm not sure about a swap but one day 7802 will have to visit ANTB!
As for 7804 have you got that chimney off yet?
Cheers,
Mark

A really nice gesture of giving this to Gilbert to use on PN.
