  1. Because :- A) I don't have the skills B) I am in Canada and do not have anyone that coudl do it for me I am entitled to an opinion and don't think I should be bashed because of it. I haven't said anything mean or degrading or anything other members may be thinking. Enough on the subject I get it, it's micro and DC...................................
  2. Thanks for the info Chris I wasn't aware of the crossing either, just received a notification from Kernow today. Regards Scott
  3. Have you seen these for your level crossing? http://www.kernowmodelrailcentre.com/p/55443/SSM318-Wills-Modern-Level-Crossing-Kit
  4. What a difference, looks great ! and you just used Humbrol enamels? May have to give this a try myself.
  5. Well no trolley for me then, it is a little poor that in this day and age DCC provisions have not been made.
  6. It is an unpowered model. Not sure about the sound , possibly for doors, guards whistle, flange squeal. etc....
  7. Do you have the piece? If they sent that out they need to make it right, especially as they would have taken it apart ti fit the sound and should have noticed it was damaged. I bought a flying Scotsman with the same problem (not from Olivias though) I just glued it back in place.
  8. I have emailed Hattons as the option to have them DCC fitted seems to have been removed.
  9. Slabs look great Marcus, I need a few in 1:1 if you don't mind....I don't need the weeds so that should be easier on you
  10. My issue was a wire which was disconnected. Rapido fixed it right away !! When I got it back had a dickens of a time getting the lighting to work properly. I bought the DCC ready version and the decoder had to be mapped. The body shell on one side sticks out a little because of the numerous times it was removed. I admit it is a stunning looking model but not my favourite. I don't think Rapido is the contact for those in the UK. I believe it is DC-Kits? It should be in the APT manual.
  11. Hattons has theirs on their website, although they mention the yellow ends are the wrong colour so need to be tweaked.
  12. Thanks Jinty, for the life on me I couldn't remember his name !!
