So what happened to Syria, the world stock markets, is there a pre-packed take-away brass band concert in Newcastle, has the Waverley route re-opened, has there been a black pudding strike in Oldham, are Welsh motorways still cobbled….?

  Agree. However much i love sport the coverage is well over the top. Syria seems to be barely get mentioned.
