    Hi PauL

Just a question on the depiction of the nose lamps, 'cos as you will know they are recessed to a flat base? Practicality?

Hi, the nose is not finished in any shape or form.  I am trying to get working lights into the design,  Several option open, but at present, on the real printed model, this looks the best.   All still very much in prototype.

Good to see you back Paul.

    Those scans look awesome.

What powered chassis are you designing this around??

    Regards

    Neal.

    Hi Neal,

I am trying to find some bogies around 23mm axel spacing so that the ET bogie side can fitted.  Class 33 is the closest so far, any suggestions anyone?

  3. Hi all.

Just to say, after a break due to family issues and work, I am back on with finishing off N gauge APT-E.

I am looking for powered bogies that can have new sides fitted and at present, I am awaiting some samples of the nose cones and bodywork printed in resin from another company.  Will keep you all posted as to progress.  Got other models to also to complete.  Hope everyone is well.

    Regards

    Paul.

  4. A little update.

    APT-E N gauge major test build 1.

No details added, just a proof of concept.

Got some extra smoothing and a little re-size on the nose to do.   Thoughts please.....

All printed in low resolution just for speed.....

Bogies are for effect only, and are old pop 1 bogies.....

  5. Morning all,

I have been scanning the Rapio model in an attempt to get the nose right for the N gauge e train model.

    So far, so good.

I am also working on making the model powered , maybe as purchased or include instructions of what to buy to do this.

    Watch this space....

    Regards

    Paul.

Great to see the POP train in N Gauge. Seriously tempted, as I've already got the matching Clayton :-)

How about APT-E in N, now Revolution have cancelled the RTR version?

I am working on it..........looks possible.

Who would be interested in an N gauge E train model.  Email me at Leadleykits@gmail.com  with Subject matter of "Oh yes please".    Wanting to see what demand is like.

    Regards

    Paul.
