      That is worse looking than the class 70, and that has grown on . Letts see no not yet. and it never will.

      lol, I quite like it. At least it has 'some' curves compared to the 70, would be nicer if it was slightly more traditional (BR Loco wise).

    First day back after a couple of weeks off and it's amazing how much the railway changes. Queenstown Road Battersea Signalbox gone, longer platforms nearly done, LED signals everywhere, station canopys being done at Richmond, lifts coming in at Vauxhall. It's all go on the Wessex...

    I was not impressed this morning whilst driving my train in the fog when a large wasp appeared from the air con vent and decided to attack me whilst coming into a station, not impressed with that or the 04:18 start this this morning....

      I swear it was too late in the year to have wasps, especially of that size and agressivness (mind yu, I did have the heater on). Unfortunetly it was a EMU I was driving today, so no wasp strips on the front, just in the cab...

      The fact that it is so late in the year is probably why it chose to be aggressive. They get very dozy and angry as the season draws to a close and the weather gets colder!
