  1. Thanks, that answers my question. All my coaches are coupled using the Bachmann semi-permanent couplings, so can use with that. Just to sort the light grey colour now, maybe with weathering!
  2. Is anyone close coupling the Mk3s? Do the, NEM pockets flex on curves or are the located in a fixed position?
  3. Would make more sense to me to catch up the backlog and when that's happening announce new items. The Mk2Fs took 5/6 years to hit the shops. Simply too long!
  4. Can I ask what the formation of the Inter7City 2+4 & 2+5 sets? Thanks.
  5. I hear that Hatton's have developed a strategy of reducing their retail operation and growing the business on manufacturing and distribution. It may be that the Hattons/Bachmann relationship is the first casualty of this plan
  6. Whilst my expectations are low, I'd like to see the Mk3s done to enable simple close coupling, and ideally in ScotRail (in matching colours to Bachmann's DBSO please).
  7. Thanks all for the advice. I'll amend accordingly.
  8. I've a class 67 TTS and would like to reduce the volume. I've tried CV63 without success so am guessing their is another CV to use? Can anyone advise please?
  9. Thanks PJ10. Mine didn't have the leaflet, hence the question.
  10. Is there a function list for the BDSO?
  11. Of the TOPS locos, there will be a 27/1, 3 27/0s; one each from ED, IS & HA
  12. There may be but I'm like you and tend to use automatic settings. Maybe someone else can advise.
  13. Smashing shots ToF. What camera and settings did you use
  14. Thanks for this. No specific working, just my mind thinking back to the 80s pictured the 1st class behind the 47/7, though I couldn't see this on any of my photos.
  15. Can someone tell me where the first class coach was placed in the Mk2 and Mk3 Sco tRail push/pull rakes? From the photos I have seen it doesn't seem to be next the the loco, or next to the driving trailer.
  16. According to the Gaugemaster website, they are all now available excepting the ScotRail DBSO. I gues that may be in transit?
  17. Has anyone has success in converting Mk3s to close coupling?
  18. In that 5 years there has been inflation, increased costs in Asia and the hammering of sterling since the vote in 2016, so not at all surprising.
  19. Expensive? My local shop told me their initial delivery was sold out within 2/3 days.
  20. Looking good. My only comment is that the line passing the TMD/yard would be better with a gently curving section leading into the main curve (transition curve). I model the ScR in the late ups ish, and wish you well with your project.
  21. Has anyone run the Mk3s with the Bachmann semi permanent close couplers fitted and has it worked?
  22. Just looked on Google maps and the platforms have been rebuilt, raised and now there is no need for passengers to cross the tracks.
  23. If you choose to model the east bank of the river, St Goarshausen makes an interesting place to model. In the early 2000s, the station layout was in the traditional style of low platforms, with a gently sloping section for each line. Passengers were held in the station building until the train arrived and those travelling north had to cross the southbound line to board the train. While this took place southbound trains were held just to the north of the station.
  24. Has a release date been confirmed for the other models in the range?
