Just found out that my brother has been asked to be a consultant for Airfix on a model.

After a nice trip to Buffers, I sit down to do some modelling and discover I bought the wrong sided catch point.

Hoping to build an Urie S15 this weekend, just hope it arrives in the post.

Unfortunately not, it's the body kit from Langely but hoping to use the Urie tender from BH Enterprises to make it a more acceptable BR variant, rather than the short lived watercart variant which were phased out in the mid 50s. I do however prefer the DJH S15 kit, maybe because i still prefer whitemetal

Just spent the best part 36 hours, Ground running a lynx aircraft in the middle off the Thames. Thankfully it is now serviceable. So flying over London tommorow .

The doc has confirmed that I have sunstroke - how? My first thought was trenchfoot.

I have discovered I really like making Airfix tank kits, they may be designed in the sixties but with modern painting techniques and a steady hand they come out nicely. All I need to do is make some dragons teeth and I'll be set.
