Although I think that is a W7, not a W6
Edit: It's actually an R4
How do you know these things? can't wait to see the peckett released

I'd really love to build that J50, printed chassis & all. The more you look at it, the printed chassis makes sense. For starters, less experience modellers could have a crack at it without having to solder up etches & it would be easier to wire up given as, being made out of plastic presumably, it's already insulated. Would be nice to see more classes like, & I know someone's already pointed this out, the N7 or maybe even the E4 2-4-0

I've been reading this thread with great enthusiasm (even though I'm not into pre-grouping locos, these threads may have converted me) & I was tempted to make my own but the prices for a Tri-ang lord of the isles is too high for me. Is there any way of obtaining spares for the modern version?

Try the Ludovico technique, that works!

It'll all come at once, you'll see. She'll be sweet one minute & when midnight strikes, she'll change. I know, I've had it. One minute, little cherub, next minute, the full Kevin

I thought they did kits?

Can I join in...? the recent ETL announcement was the final straw and prompted me into dumping a load of unfinished projects, but seeing a video from the weekend of 86101 and 87002 alive at Carlisle has spurned me into tackling something that is both Electric and Blue.....
I took a picture of 87002 for a college photography project
As a result, I passed my photography class with flying colours
Going back on topic (ish), do AppleGreen have a website at all?

Kind words, thank you Mr Hancockshire.
Any time

Yes (that's what mine is made from), but it might be worth waiting a couple of months before cutting anything up, just in case...
Why? I wont be getting vast amounts of money anytime soon & if I can build something out of cheap(-ish) Hornby bits, I will
Nice to see this thread re-appearing near the top!
No wonder, it's quite a clever mod, well, that's my opinion anyway

Would it be possible to make an 84 using the Hornby 86?

Looks really nice. Anyone know if they are going to release different coaches? Western region stock perhaps
Dapol working signals review

I have bought some 00 gauge lower quadrant signals & none of them work. The lights work fine & I've opened them up & tested the motors, they work fine. I've tried that tapping thing but that doesn't work. Any ideas on how to fix them please
