  1. Thanks for that, but sadly the Mojo has left me, hope it'll be back in the new year!
  2. you can't just sit still, 12 months till the show, plenty of time!!!!!
  3. i have a similar off stage industry on Franklin falls, Hoffman building supplies, which has 4 spots, spot 1 boxcar-bagged cement/timber, spot 2,PS2 hopper-sand, spot 3 open hopper -stone and spot 4 gondola/flat steel loads, can take some switching, as everything must go in the right order.
  4. Thanks Nick, will look into this, but another problem has cropped up, metal wheels and magnets, time for a rethink and plan B!!!
  5. Anyone have an idea which NEM coupler pocket will replace this one in Roco wagon 4375 5
  6. Thanks, found the same spares sheet, but Roco listing them discontinued, just wonder in the newer Kof lll socket will fit, looks like an email to Roco
  7. This weekend is my local show at Workington, i'm helping on Eli wood modern image N gauge https://www.ukmodelshops.co.uk/event/24303-SolrailLtd_Exhibition
  8. Box car location could be a building which part of the cement plant, shipping bagged cement😉
  9. After reading this thread, i went searching for my Roco Kof lll, it's an early DC model, my question is does any one know the part number for the NEM socket or suitable replacement, both mine have lost the plastic arms and won't re-centre, thinking of going down the Kadee route for coupling
  10. Out again next weekend, looks to be a good show, come and say helloo!
  11. Surprised there's no post for this exhibition, which i'll be attending with Franklin Falls HO, come a long and say helloooo! https://www.ukmodelshops.co.uk/event/24170-NewcastleDistrictModelRailwaySociety_Exhibition
  12. Sadly my layouts (American HO) fall in the category of "noses up in the air brigade" which use to bother me, but not now, so to save them time at exhibition i've had a sign made to display on top of the layout, just wondering weather to add flashing light!!
  13. good luck hope it works, let us know how it works out, those replacement wheels from Mech's, are better than stock Athearn, there nickel plated.
  14. Still a few 250's knocking about when i was last there in 2009
  15. this maybe be a better option https://www.anglo-americanmodelrailways.com/product-page/athearn-f7-gp7-front-rear-power-truck-assy-402011-ho-part
  16. looks like cracked gears is your problem, clicking is the classic give away, you need replacement gears or try super glue and baking soda!
  17. Looks ok, if you change the right hand switch at the end of the run round to left hand, this would give you a unloading pad/team track at the end of the bottom track to unload bulkheads/centre beams from either side, you could use the top left track for tank car loading/unloading
  18. would suggest using a small diamond crossing, instead of switch back spur
  19. made a start on the buildings, using plasticard, then cover with brick paper.
