    Siting on a snow covered highway in Canada because the semi at the front decided not to put chains on. RCMP just walked past, so looks like there’ll be trouble!

      I know DriveBC! We visit our son in Nelson regularly and consult that website before every journey - for snow conditions in winter and wildfires in summer 🤨.

       

      Enjoy Tofino. It’s a few years since we’ve been there - we should go back sometime soon.

    Wildlife central today. I nearly strimmed a snake this afternoon, then tonight a skunk was promenading down the garden path!

    Washed out roads, brand new waterfalls, flooding, local disaster areas and police roadblocks - all in one drive to Calgary. Good luck to the people who's homes and lives are affected.

      Luckily, my family are all in higher areas. Still have a few friends in the evacuated neighbourhoods though. I won't check in with them till later this morning. 7 hour difference.
