  1. Shadow Play, Rory Gallagher
  2. There was a series of articles in Model Railway Constructor during the 1970s which IIRC had track and building plans, Unfortunately I don`t know which year, sorry.
  3. According to certain television programmes, it is transported in black Range Rovers, with darkened windows and stored in small plastic bags. Or is that a different commodity?
  4. If it is the traction changeover point, then the 4VEP may have been stabled with a tail lamp on both ends. Whoever is coupling the 33 up will have removed the tail lamp.
  5. Nothing to lose, Girlschool
  6. The bands played on, Saxon
  7. The crossing provides access to the signsl box and, in the past was also used for Royal Mail vehicles, to make loading/ unloading easier.
  8. If you have ghosts, Ghost
  9. My mistake. There is a photo on Flickr of 56036 at Derby Works Open Day taken on 10 September 1977. I went to both, my memory isn`t as good as I thought it was, my apologies,
  10. The original post mentions Portsmouth & Southsea, to my way of thinking that is one route. The line to Portsmouth Harbour could be classed as a separate entity. In the same way that Manchester Piccadilly has twelve terminal platforms and the junction which carries on towards Oxford Road and beyond. In both cases the two routes are connected, but in effect are separate. Rock Ferry has also been mentioned. That too has terminal platforms, from the old electrified line from Liverpool and the steam route from Birkenhead Riverside Station. Most other places mentioned seem to be stations with bay platforms, of which there are many, although Reading, with its third rail platfoms probably falls in line with Portsmouth and Piccadilly.
  11. Neat, neat, neat, The Damned
  12. Now now, we don`t want to upset the non-binary`s, do we?
  13. Whilst on the subject of charities, there are numerous adverts on television for various animal charities. How do they work out how much they expect people to donate? You can help a dog or cat from "just £3 a month", yet a rhino or a bear is only £2. Also, people who go to the Sally Army for Christmas must be getting less each year because they`re still asking for £19, they`ve been asking for the same amount for a few years now.
  14. Look at yourself, Uriah Heep
  15. Die young, Black Sabbath
