  1. Good point. I’ve yet to check all those settings. (I’m still learning the full capabilities) having said that, I put Rails Heljan 18000, KR GT3 and a Road and Rails Loksound V5 fitted Kernow D600 full their full F sequences. Everything worked as per the F map. So I don’t see any conflicts at present.
  2. Yep. All mine are working fine, up to F29. Really impressed you can customise the F maps, it’s so much easier than trying to remember all the different maps for each loco-but like going from DOS to windows lol
  3. Crikey! Erm, I think I’ll wait for the bug fix. One further question, if I may, can I go ahead and add all my non Hornby sound chips (as additional locos associated to the Dongle)? The ability to customise the F icons in the TXS app is BRILLIANT, as it’s a real pain to try and remember all their individual different function maps. The ability to customise each loco with its own individual icons for function maps is a massive benefit. What I don’t want to happen is do all that work (30+ individual maps) then find that data has been lost in an App fix/update?
  4. Right. I'm with you. And thanks for the advice - very useful. However: When I follow the procedure to load the function map, it's only giving me the option of assigning to the Dongle, not a choice of the other locos assigned to the dongle in the Engine Shed. e.g. "Tap on Profiles. Tap on the Profile panel of the Function Map you wish to import. In the Decoder Selection box, tap on Select Now > Select your Locomotive from the Decoder Selection pop-up box" - But it only gives me the option of TXS Dongle - #1 (not other locos assigned to the Dongle). Alternatively: If I go to an assigned loco in the Engine Shed and select import function map , it only has an option of "Default (HM700)" ? So I cant work out how to access/upload the individual function maps for multiple {different} TTS files for different locos assigned to the Dongle in the Engine Shed.
  5. Agreed! I’d love to know how to import TTS function maps!
  6. Right, thx. Kinda guessed it would be like that. I defo need to have a good look at the details. But thanks for the steer !
  7. My dongle arrived! Plugged into my Elite and popped a TTS cl37 on and away we go. But, I’ve a lot to think/learn about how it functions. The App sees the dongle as a resettable device (like one loco{chip}?) So I guess? Other locos can be added-without having to re-enter the loco address each time? Anyway, for thickos like me a comprehensive manual would be useful. I await others wisdom! Don't get me wrong, I think the dongle makes TXS even more amazing. It’s a great system-once I understand it!
  8. My Southern arrived today! Yep, the MBS is a bit of a monster. It thinks it’s a Heljan cl128! I’m impressed!
  9. Still missing the door handle (grab) on the refurbished (added) saloon door! But overall sounds a great improvement. Just fitted TXS to my other B+G, NSE and blue. Can’t wait for my Southern!
  10. Just had the same, this afternoon when I was fitting a TXS! It’s a real s*d. Eventually forced it off, amazed the clips didn’t snap. It pulled some of the window glazing out, but I’ve found it pops back in-if you refit from the top of the window (the opening lights). Not at all sure why it had to be this hard!
  11. But in that worst case scenario (hopefully wont happen) I'd just flip all the TXS decoders to DCC and they would continue to function as any other DCC sound chip. If that were to happen, hopefully somebody else would pick up the "format" and market TXS as a discrete system in it's own right.
  12. Excellent news! The 121 and 153 will be very useful - especially for the chips I've just bought in the Hattons sale. (such a shame they are closing)
