Hi all,
I have a BP liveried Janus 0-6-0 shunter (Oxford Rail) and wanted to fit a driver into the cab.
Has anyone had any experience of removing the cab and can advise how best to remove it from the body?
Many thanks

Yes I have one. I have used for cutting there 2 mm chipboard also 0.25, 0.5 and 1.0 mm plastic card. The latter two at the moment not all the way through, score and snap. Also used the chipboard setting on Wills walling sheets. Not quite enough to snap but good cutting guides. It all needs more experimentation.
@AJ'S Can I ask which material you chose for cutting those various sizes of plastic card from the options list? I've gone with the suggested Foam Board option (using Cricut's Knife Blade on 10thou plastikard) but I'm wondering which material selection is optimal.

It does look exactly like the Life-Like model.
I assume they must have adapted an exciting design for the UK market in the 70s.
Thank you all for your input.

Thanks for that.

It does indeed. That looks like the one we have in the top right of the photo.

Thanks Phil but it's not like any of those. It has a working motor. Front bogie has the pickups and the back has the drive mechanism.

Apologies, images didn't upload. Trying again.

A member of the family is sorting through their old toys and amongst the Hornby Dublo stock and track is this curio. It looks like an American style FP7 but in BR blue. All that's printed underneath is made Hong Kong.
Any help in identifying this loco would be gratefully received.
Many thanks.
