Just arrived- a weathered 828. But while the sounds are all there the loco won't move. Cvs are adjustable but I don't have read back at present. I did a factory reset but to no avail.
Any simple fixes or is this a return job!

A dirty one coming my way for action on Kilbowie at Modelrail Scotland. I have just phoned to upgrade to the sound model. I was going to wait till and choose a sound file but having the built in speaker has spooked me a bit. It may still get an additional speaker in the tender. We'll see..........

Thanks everyone for your positive comments and yes Kilbowie did win the cup. We all enjoyed the show but will need to scratch our heads to come up with better next year. We hope to see you all again next year. You can follow events as they unfold on Facebook.

Ah the secret is to reserve it when you go in and stick it in your pocket till you are ready to eat it! The buffet staff only bake 2 or 3 pies so you need to be quick.

How do you make a working model boat pond in oo scale? The answer is............ come along to our show and see it on our Thomas layout and ask!

Order your apple pie early because some people take 2 pieces!
BTW. Parking at the kirk is free and plentiful on the surrounding roads.

Well that set up was easy. I just couldn't remember where all the connections went! Well it's all working but tomorrow is another day!

Now now you know I can't condone bacon rolls. However 1 bacon roll + 1 apple pie- now that's a balanced diet!
-
Hi Doc
Never mind the apple pie. Just make sure the bacon rolls are on for Saturday morning.
-
I have it on good authority that the home made apple pie is at an advanced stage of preparation. Don't delay get your pie at the show while stocks last!

Removing the Peckett body. Disaster!
Trying to remove a very tight and stuck body to fit DCC to my shock the crosshead pin has sheared from its connecting rod. This appears to be very fragile and not made of nickel silver. I will be contacting Hornby for a remedy.
