I am plainly getting old (?) and not as computer literate as I thought. So I aplogise if this gets into the wrong area on this site!

First question: I have already posted a blog (SCALE CHANGE). I have since added an update to this but this does not seem to show up,separately, on the site. If you do click on the original blog it is there but, unless you click on the original blog, there seems to be no way that you would know. What am I doing wrong?

Second question: Where should I have posted this simple enquiry?????

    All comments gratefully received......

After a great deal of soul searching, I have decided that I'm going to have to be a 2mm man! I've decided that what I really want is a railway in a landscape. In a 6' x 4' shed, I've realised that this is going to impossible in 00, if I really want to do the scenery justice. I already have a location in mind (fictitous branch line, off a real railway line).

For me to finance this change of scale, I will need to sell my existing 00 gauge models, most of which are "work in progress" but I do have some models "as bought" from a well-known auction site. I'm planning to offer these in the "classified" section. I do not want the "price war" that can be generated on that auction site, when, as I see it, we are all enthusiasts on this site and understand what we want to do.

So, the upshot of this preamble is that I will be offering some items for sale in the "classified" section, which, I hope will be of interest to you serious modellers out that. I want to charge a "reasonable price" and, if any of you with more experience than I, think these prices are unrealistic, please let me know.

As I have said, there will be some rtr models, as bought, and some work-in-progress that I hope you may wish to finish off.

Please keep an eye on the classifieds section and, if there's anything in which you are interested, please consider!!

Meanwhile, I intend to start a new blog, describing my new 2mmFS layout, as it progresses!

    Jim
