  1. The SR never had any RUs allocated, so there weren't any green ones. Mainline and Hornby have done RBs In Green.
  2. Looks like TU009A esc pedestal suspension disk brakes https://paulbartlett.zenfolio.com/icicausticsodatua
  3. The LMS insulated/ventilated containers with ice boxes were taller than other containers. Diagram 175 8' 7 1/2" Diagram 176 8' 10 1/8" Diagram 177 8' 10 1/8"
  4. In 1990 there were three BPO 60194 Chas Roberts 1964 TT034C converted to TTA BPO 60197 Pickering 1965 TT026Y converted to TTA BPO 60365 South Staffs 1965 TT026J still TTF but stored
  5. There would have been some in the plain red livery and some in Consent Leasing green.
  6. No, but these ones are; https://uk.arnoldmodel.com/products/ermewa-4-axle-container-wagon-sffgmss-ifa-grey-livery-loaded-45-container-maersk-ep-vi-hn9739
  7. Stumbled across these photos. https://hmrs.org.uk/-abg806--48--staff-coach-br-w3756w-xgw-tbn-diag-d62-at-skewen-r3l-no-3755-beyond---see-abg807.html https://hmrs.org.uk/-abg807--48--staff-coach-br-w3755w-xgw-tbn-diag-d62-at-skewen-r3l-part-3756-right---see-abg806.html https://hmrs.org.uk/-abg808--20t-grain-van-br-w42237-at-plymouth-millbay-f3r.html Photos and descriptions for abg807 and abg808 are jumbled up.
  8. You will find them all under covered hoppers. https://hmrs.org.uk/photographs.html?subgroup=14327
  9. Found some more Info. W160000-254 Bogies bolster B W161000-59 Flat WC W161500-34 Trestle EH Looking at photos some wagons are WW1 (Parrot) type upgraded to 50T
  10. They had 4 bolsters added and became W160000-254, later many were converted to various coil wagons.
  11. But Bachmann have only produced the 64 seat 2+2 version, although the earlier releases were described as SO.
  12. With the glazing and underframe trussing replaced the Airfix CK sits well with the Hornby coaches. This one is a work in progress.
  13. Or read the announcement For the first time, all of the new Branchline Mk1 Coaches will be available with the option of pre-fitted passengers, these include 12 Scenecraft figures pre-fitted to each vehicle.
  14. Yes there are two bodies and two underframes so effectively two different wagons. The fitted one is Diagram 1/120 not 1/119 and the unfitted is one of the Shildon 1971/2 rebuilds numbered B315000-317599, and correctly has the narrower top lip.
  15. We have been through this before, they DO NOT have coreless motors.
  16. The prototypes had an extra toilet type window that the production versions didn't, does the Dapol tooling cover this variation? 10200 10203
  17. This livery is almost certainly fictional, the petroleum board was set up to increase the usage of tank wagons, dedicating some to pool petrol only would do the opposite. This previous thread didn't find any evidence. All prewar class A tank wagons would be in stone livery so the tinplate wagon manufacturers seem to have based many of thier liveries on the road tanker liveries for more colour and variation. I think this pool livery is also based a road tanker.
  18. BP Ethyl is a 1936 livery trial and probably never operated in this livery, Bachmann's livery is probably wrong as it should have red Shell lettering on the other side.
  19. I haven't tried it personally but these should work; https://www.aandhmodels.co.uk/lenz-80006-ly006-xpressnet-cable-2596-p.asp And inline coupler
  20. None of the announced 08s have the external hinges on the bonnet doors required for a black one.
  21. Some that have been repainted to DB red have a DB logo, it is possible that others may have as well. Most don't have any logo or are so dirty you can't tell, I wouldn't be surprised if there are still some with faded remains of the RFD logo underneath the dirt.
  22. Containerway had 20' and 30' containers to the same design as freightliner so this is a livery Bachmann could do on their existing models. https://archive.commercialmotor.com/article/15th-september-1967/64/recruits-for-the-container-bandwagon They also had 20' x 8' flush sided insulated containers
  23. Yes it measures 265 over the tips of the coupling hooks and 228 over headstocks.
  24. The Oxford Rail Carflat is 57' and is a very poor underframe with dimensional errors in the trussing and incorrect size wheels.
  25. Where did this 1967 date come from? The life and times 'Freightliner' has Lot 3693 listed as built in 1969. There are a lot of typos in the number ranges beginning with 7 for the L type containers, but the build dates all look correct.
