Thanks Chris and John. Whilst its sad to know I'm not alone its reassuring too.

Yes they are popular, and agree they certainly should have a cut off time and offer refunds if its not made by collection time and not offer a postal service - I wasn't the only one left in this position 3 other people also gave their address details for theirs to be posted to them I imagine they are also in the same situation.

Their stand should carry a "buyer beware" warning on them. The quality is good, the service, reliability and honesty is far from it. Perhaps exhibition managers should also exercise caution with them too. As disappointed visitors due to poor traders can impact the reputation of the show. My over-riding memory of the London Show is  nowone of feeling ripped off and disappointed and not about the layouts I saw...

    Good Morning

Sorry I have only just seen about your problem with Totem Signs.  Please email your contact details and your order to me and we will contact Ron for you. shelley.bright@warnersgroup.co.uk.  We only have a telephone number for him and are not able to share it, but will do our utmost to resolve this for you.  Thank you

  7. Meet the TV stars at Ally Pally

We've enjoyed an amazing few months for model railway-based television recently. Has our hobby ever enjoyed such a high profile, or such positive coverage?

This year's London Festival of Railway Modelling gives you the chance to meet some of the stars of the programmes.

For starters, we have Barry Cossins and the Missenden Modellers group with their layout ‘Ealing Road’ (featured in BRM’s Spring issue which is on-sale now). It’s a fascinating model and we have a feature in this newsletter where Andy and I visit the group to find out all the interesting bits on the layout the TV people don't have time for.

Then Colin and his crew, last seen on the James May Hornby documentary, can be found on the Double O Gauge Association stand where I'm sure they will be happy to spill the beans on how they found themselves in front of the camera. If you can't make it to the show, we've a feature in this issue too.

Don't forget that Phil Parker & Howard BRM TV will also be around, so stop by and say hello!

  8. Pendon Museum has some of the finest dioramas anywhere and is a source of inspiration and delight to all modellers. The central feature of their stand this weekend in London is a completely new 22 foot panoramic 3D photograph of The Vale Scene. Come and see the photographs and learn more about the Museum.

Visit https://www.world-of-railways.co.uk/shows/show/the-london-festival-of-railway-modelling/ for the upto date list of layouts, exhibitors and everything else that is happening.
