  1. Must be air mail... hat, coat etc
  2. On the subject of boxes... Went to the Toy Fair at Stafford yesterday, on one stand they had 3 Bachman 66s, all 66152. £125, £120 & £105. The pricing looked as though it was the condition of the box - the £105 loco is a very good runner, so £20 saved...
  3. Very enjoyable show. Many thanks to the chap operating Box Road for imparting his knowledge and advice.
  4. Didn't Hornby fit one of those to their original class 58s? Skin on the rice puddings were in no danger!
  5. 70817 15 minutes later passing through Tutbury & Hatton station.
  6. Here are two I made earlier... 68024 & 68034 passing through Tutbury & Hatton station a quarter of an hour earlier.
  7. C5 MNF watched in less than 90 minutes by fast forwarding past 3 people in the studio. (I say people to be kind!) Eagles may be 2-0 but I didn't think much to the Vikings defence or QB.
  8. Why should ebay be any different? Customer care and service is as dead as a Norwegian Blue parrot!!
  9. Oh &*%^. Even worse!! Only lasted until just after the adverts - the best bit of the programme!
  10. I went on NFL.com after posting yesterday and there was an article about how to watch in the UK. Low and behold MNF is live each week on C5 - that was well publicised!! There is also half an hour on a Sunday morning on C5 at 1030 - so I'll log off here and find out what that's like.
  11. ITV have done it again!! After aquiring Match of the Day from the BBC they nearly killed off football (?soccer) highlights. Next they got F1 and put adverts in the races. Now they've got Osi and JBell and The NFL Show. 48 minutes of absolute rubbish, there were 2 minutes of TNF highlights to pad out the 50 minutes. Even Osi And Jason look as though they are going through the motions. At least NFL.com does some highlights.
  12. Renewing my GOG card (I definitely was one at the end of the proceedure) resulted with me using the East Midlands Trains facility as NR decided I did not exist!!
  13. In the BTCC if you cause a red flag in quali you loose your fastest time.
  14. By P5 1987 no vacuum only braked locos, all now dual or air braked. A few 08s in P5 1990 still v only - all seem to be allocated to FHZZ - Coal sector.
  15. The image is a "stock" image from another site. Love the watch - bid at the moment £4.20 which seems reasonable but buy now at £99.99 you can put it where the sun doesn't shine....
  16. The Secret Language Of Birds, Part II ~ Ian Anderson
  17. I'm Just A Killer For Your Love ~ Blur
  18. Thru the Eyes of Ruby ~ The Smashing Pumpkins
  19. Over The Hills And Far Away ~ Nightwish
  20. Love to Love You (And Tonight Pigs Will Fly) ~ Caravan
  21. Third Week In the Chelsea ~ Jefferson Airplane (Just to make a change from The Fratellis or Mr Cohen)
  22. Even more pedant mode: The county line is the Dove which splits Tutbury from Hatton. Tutbury is the other side of the river from the railway line so the railway line passes through Hatton. The train is not stopping at Tutbury & Hatton station so it is in Hatton. 😀 And the Nestle factory's address is Tutbury... ps. to complicate matters further at the other end of the village there is a junction - The Salt Box Cafe is in Hatton and The Sonar Gow Indian is in Foston...
