is it possible to convert farish locos (non dcc ready) to accept the Dapol easi shunt couplings?

Might be an idea to sell all my rolling stock and start afresh

I have a selection of n gauge peco wagons (two are farish) plus rather a lot of farish coaches? How do I know if they are NEM compatible? I'm not sure how I'd know. Cheers

I have wired my signals as instructed. the lights illuminate ok but the signal arms don't move when the switches are flicked. I have on-off-on (centre off) spring loaded toggle switches fitted. Is it the switches at fault?
