Got to say, if you could mix and match parts of the two, we'd be well on our way to the perfect B1, surely...? The Hornby tender is so much better than I thought it would be that it took me quite by surprise earlier. A good friend brought one round to compare with my older Replica B1. It does sort of confirm how spot on Replica were in the first place, but how little details which could have been changed by Bachmann could have made for an altogether better model.
