  1. I remember the summer ‘88 timetable change when the 155s replaced the class 33s. The through summer Saturday BTN - CDF on a few occasions had 4x155 in multiple. I caught it on one occasion. ISTR it lasted only for maybe 3 or 4 weekends though before being reduced to the more normal 2 or 4 car sets.
  2. I’ve just seen an electronic copy of the new catalogue on key model world (you need an account/subscription). There is no mention now of the VEA being produced in the new catalogue. In the original catalogue it was listed as 3 liveries being produced. The catalogue also shows a digital render of the KFA as well as the 37. Steve
  3. No. The original SR Mk2 FK were all gone by 1987. Pretty certain none made it into NSE at all.
  4. Yes. As above, Peco have put a video on YouTube about the CDA and they do mention the other liveries. They also make a nice little diorama based on the Fowey line if you have 10 or so minutes free.
  5. My NSE TSO has arrived. I am very happy with it. Lovely model. Gutted it didn’t show up in a NSE liveried box though.
  6. Hi Adam. Sorry if I have possibly missed this somewhere, but are you able to say when the next run of class 33 will arrive. They were announced ages ago….. Thanks Steve
  7. Hi. Thanks for this post and image. I’m quite excited by TT although the only item I have so far is the Esso TTA. I’m not on Facebook - are you able to say what was said or post an image on here? Also slightly confused regarding the quote above about the 37/47 - what does this mean? It looks promising seeing the final product in boxes and presumably, not that far away from retail (I’m interested in the 50 & Mk2f). Are there fears that Hornby are cooling on the TT project? Many thanks Steve
  8. Could I ask if anyone else who has looked at the new edition if the images are pixelated at all. I have downloaded twice now with the same results. Thanks
  9. Esso looks really nice. Might be my first TT purchase.
  10. You are right in regard the RK with no red stripe. According to blood & custard the Fifteen Guinea special had two RKs in formation. M80037 had the red stripe and M80028 had a blue stripe.
  11. I believe the REPs did have a red stripe, but not over the seated area, just the restaurant part of the coach.
  12. Class 33. All types. Finally we would have a new generation Crompton that would be right.
  13. Thanks for the replies. I have managed to remove the body by pushing some old train tickets along the side between the body and chassis and then pushing down on the chassis in the cab area and it released. Very tough though. A follow up question would be what could be the problem? I have no lights or power/no electrical current going into the model. It is completely dead. Any help appreciated. Thanks Steve
  14. Hi. Could somebody please help with removing the body on a China Farish class 20 please. I have removed the bogies and 4 screws from under the body, but the body is staying put. I was running the model today and it just stopped. No lights or electrical noise at all now. Normally I would just send it off for repair because (frankly) I'm a technical numpty, but I just thought I would give it a go and investigate and see if I cant have a go at fixing it myself. I am a DC user. Any help appreciated. Many thanks Steve
  15. Yep. 10:30 yesterday, door bell rings - post lady with a very unexpected SPT 156 510. Only had a chance for a quick visual inspection, no running yet, but it looks fantastic. Very happy thanks Charlie.
  16. Just saying my pre-order for my Dapol N gauge W/C is 10 years old this year and still waiting. 😂😂😂
  17. Hi. I just came across this picture and was wondering if somebody would be able to say what types of wagon are in the consist. It looks an interesting train to model. Thanks Steve
  18. Hi. I can't remember if it was RM but there was a layout based on Sandown set in the NSE period. It had models of both 483 & 485.
  19. I'm trying my hardest to resist D6992. These images do not help.
  20. Absolutely agree with this, but pressing a button to agree just didn't seem right.
  21. I'm very late to this announcement. Great to see Bachmann announce all these coaches, however slight disappointment that no green Mk1s announced - I'm guessing it's at least 10 years since there was a new release of green Mk1 coaches of the more common types used on the SR (BSK, SK, CK) and NSE - we've never had any NSE liveried Mk1 SK & CK types. Maybe next time. Steve
