  1. Oh lookey here, it would appear that you've posted a photo of 3820, Zane... T'would be a shame if I, posted one myself! HA!
  2. Do you think you would consider selling your R1 in the future?
  3. G'day Rob, If I'm ever in the area one year I must make sure to check out the exhibition, looks like a lovely day out. There was another video of his that showed your motorised Stirling single plus it's rake of coaches. If I recall correctly, it was on the layout that had the live steam Hornby locos. If the modern Trams were N gauge, they must be either Kato or Tomica trams? Would you happen to have an R class tram at all in your extensive collection? Regards, Aaron
  4. I don't know if you know this, but I think your Trams have become Youtube hits thanks to Australian user Leokimvideo! Video's here is you want to see your trams. Aaron
  5. My first K's kit was a 1361, bought for around $110, it wasn't a massive failure, although the "mint" chassis was far from that. My second K's kit is currently being built, the famous GWR 14xx Auto Tank. If anyone here is interested, my thread is here:http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/79878-ks-gwr-14xx-auto-tank/. Any help is massively appreciated, espicially help concerning mounting the motor, and setting up the pony truck. Thanks! Aaron
  6. If it is just a hobby, then why do people feel the need to complain when I don't agree with their opinion?
  7. Would one of these motors:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Susumotor-Lima-motor-replacement-motor-for-the-Pancake-motor-/261312226670?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item3cd76c256e fit inside a Lima C38?
  8. I was being perfectly civil here. If someone is going to make such a big fuss about me disagreeing with their precious opinion, why can't I label it as being/acting childish?
  9. The Triang Rocket coach body (R621?) is a much better choice, as the coach body in the film looked to be ex LMR.
  10. And did you really have to make such a big fuss about me disagreeing with your opinion? Seems childish to me in all honesty.
  11. So, people or locomotives are famous because people have heard only good things about them? Hmm. So therefore, people like Adolf Hitler, Stalin etc are good people, because they are "famous" That may be taking it to the extreme, but it relates to your "definition" well, that a lot of people hear good things about people and that makes them famous. And BTW, It's spelt "aaron14xx"
  12. Thanks very much for the kits, they look VERY nice. Can they be upscaled to 00 gauge, as well as N gauge?
  13. Personally, I have the same loco, but numbered 2728, and mine runs perfectly after 5 years! Perhaps it just needs a good major serving (cleaning the wheels, oiling gears, cleaning pick-ups and running in) should do it, if not, take i to a shop and see what they can do in the case or repairs, if a repair is not possible, change the chassis from the J72 over to the 2721 (same chassis). Enjot
  14. So Hornby aren't releaseing a GWR Castle with the Collett tender, even though thats the tender that most recognised with the Class? Why is this??? They might as well not bother with the Castle!
  15. be easier just to sell it and what ever money you make from the sale, use it to buy a new one.
