  1. Hi, Does anyone know Robert Bateman ? I’ve lost his contact details on Facebook, he does a lot of modern image modelling, painting and weathering . He recently painted his 00 gauge model of Network rail class 313 EMU, I’m trying to find out who did the decals for these. Thanks

  3. What is the difference on the improved cab windows on the latest release?.
  4. The pics are of the older tooling units, here is a pic of the new tooling model.
  5. It’s the top part of the windscreen frame that looks to straight on the new tool model and the curves I’m talking about, everything above the windscreen wipers I think they had it perfect on the original old tooling model.
  6. Does anyone know if a Cricut maker 3 machine would be able to cut 0.5 or 1mm thick clear plasticard sheets to make glazing for EMU and DMU kits?, I’m basically talking about a few different sizes of rectangles with slightly curved corners and does anyone know if the design software is easy to use.
  7. Is it me or does the top of the cab windscreens look incorrect on the latest tooling version? compared to the old tooling model and the real thing as to me it looks like it’s got a slight curve on the older tooling model and the real thing but on the latest tooling the top of the windscreen frame looks flat.
  8. I hope they will tool up the difference because it really changes the face of the units.
  9. I suppose they would have to incorporate the differences in the tooling for the windscreen as it was very wide thick rubber on the earlier versions prior to mid life refurbishment some of the First Barbie liveried ones and Centro liveried ones had both versions of windscreen rubbers.
  10. I asked on Facebook class 323 and class 730 page, and it’s confirmed they definitely had wider rubber windscreen surrounds.
  11. It definitely looks like wider rubber windscreen surrounds on the earlier ones, none of them have the thicker rubber surrounds on now compare the last pic of the latest .
  12. I hope they make the tooling correct for the early ones as they used to have very wide thick rubber windscreen surrounds.
  13. I hope they do the North Western Trains gold star livery eventually with the branding.
  14. I’ve got a 31-519 class 158 new tooling not sound fitted the newly tooled GWR model that’s never been run and mint boxed brand new condition as I don’t have a layout I paid £220 for it but can’t find out how much they are worth not even on EBay, did it become a rare sought after model?, as I see they are doing a new release of it.
