Hi, Just reading the latest collectors club magazine and it says "Although the original intention was to produce a new chassis for the Class 40 to accomodate DCC Sound and lighting system, the model is also receiving a totally new body tooling, hence the delay in relesing this model on to the market" Roll on the new Class 40's!!!!!!

I also caught the liv/Man splitter, usually at Preston to get haulage behind an 08!!!! It was always MK2, Often did have a Class 85 but from Preston to Liv/Man and vice versa always diesel hauled. I have seen Class 85's with Mk3s on several occasions, With the about pic it seems a bit strange as the 1st class is at the non Euston end and most trains ran with a BG then the 1st class at the Euston end? Gary

I would not expect this model to be in the 2012 models, But they may have some more new Class 40's which could include details of any updates they are doing if they are doing any? Its about time and would explian why a model they have allready done is taking so long to come out.,

I can reccomend a trip to Tassie, i love the place its a great place to live but could do with more trains running, Including reinstating the line to Scotdale, ( I can see if from my computer!!!!) If I knew you was coming down I could of invited you round for a running session!!!! First session of the year on Monday!!!! Hi Dave, Really like the look of the pantos, Would you consider doing a cross arm in the future for some Class 87 and I think some Class 86's also used them? This move happend on all the trains which split at Carstairs also one of the splits was The Highland Cheiften, Which has a funny rake with one portion coming from Glasgow and the other coming from Inverness with one of the Mk3's converted to have a brake compartment, and also had some moves like this arround Mossend yard with the sleeper trains, and I think at Carlisle and Crewe some trains got sleeper cars added to the train. Yeah got a blue one from Hereford Model Centre, Superb service, They even tested it before posting and it took about 12 days to arrive down to Tassie!!!! Really nice model just looks to clean!!! Has anyone ever seen one in real life clean? I need to do a trip to Melbourne just getting round to it and planning with the little one. Gary

Hi everyone, Just want to let people know about the awesome service from The Hereford Model Centre, I ordered a class 105 in BR blue from them on the day they came in stock. Item arrived today down in Tasmania!!!! Total cost 64 GBP including postage!!!!! Also in the box was a little not to let you know they had tested it!!!! That is awesome service. Not sure if to cancel my order for a Class 85 with another shop and use The Hereford Model Centre. That testing bit really made it for me as have had to send locos back or fix myself due to postage costs!!!!. Once again Thanks to the lovely staff at The Hereford Model Centre.
