trying to remember name of a 50s, US Xmas film, young lad gets a BB rifle gun in it.

They show it several times a day just about every day here in the States during Xmas time, kinda like they did James Bond films in the UK when I was growing up, so it's hard to forget. In fact, I was in a local bookstore yesterday, they had a little leg lamp ornament which made me think of that movie...
