    I wish more manufactures adopted the approach of ESU in their locos with AC/DC compatibility

      Makes sense in the German market because of the popularity of Marklin there, but three-rail British outline...? Will customers be happy and willing to pay extra for the electronics required accommodate both AC and DC in the same product, when the overwhelming majority of people don't require it?

      it'd be nice because we'd then be able to decide on track and if someone has marklin stuff you could then just change mode on DC loco to AC
